“Let Us Entertain You” Gala

Join the Monument Arts & Cultural Center on Sunday, May 18, 2025 for a memorable evening of song and stories as we host our second annual gala, “Let Us Entertain You.” Our special guests, Broadway couple Liz Larsen and Sal Viviano, will perform their cabaret show, “Two for the Road.” Cocktails, light fare, local entertainment, and a silent auction in our galleries will round out this lively event.

Liz Larsen and Sal Vivano:

Liz Larsen and Sal Vivano are a husband and wife team who can boast a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Helen Hayes Award, Outer Critics Circle Nomination, Broadway World Award and more. 

Liz has performed in such musicals as “Hairspray,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Damn Yankees,” “A Little Night Music,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and more. She originated the character Genie Klein in “Beautiful, the Carole King Musical” during its six-year run, as well as playing featured roles in dozens of off-Broadway shows, including comedian Sarah Silverman’s new musical, “The Bedwetter.” For ten years Liz played Jessica Reed in the TV series “Law and Order”and D.A. Regal in “Law and Order SVU.” She and her husband Sal have been soloists with symphonic pops orchestras all over the world. 

 The New York Times has described Sal as a “luxuriant vocalist with effortless style.” In 1984, he made his Broadway debut in “The Three Musketeers,” following up with “City of Angels,” “Falsettos,” “The Life,” and “The Full Monty.” He has toured with “Chicago,” “Evita,” “Hair,” and “Sunday in the Park with George,” which earned him a Helen Hayes Award nomination for Best Actor. Sal has been chosen by some of the greatest songwriters of all time to introduce and record their new material, including Irving Berlin, who selected Sal to record the last song he ever wrote.
